    What it's all about

    		 FreeCount is a tool that lets you track details about your visitors, who they are and where they're coming from. This can really help if you need to market your site well. Earlier on, I tried several tools, but they would either slow down my site or would display too much graphic. I then wrote my own counter and web stats tracker.

    This utility requires that you have access to the CGI directory. If your hosting service doesn't provide CGI, it sucks anyway, so you better forget about them and switch to another place ;-). It displays a 1x1 size banner, which is invisible. Since the tracking software lies within your server, it's much faster and more reliable. A front end that formats the logs into HTML is also provided.
