The DJGPP compiler
Welcome to the DJGPP Resource Center. Here's some of the things I've collected about DJGPP.
So, what is DJGPP? Why do I need this? etc. etc. These questions (and more) are answered by the small FAQ I have here. Find out why. Also check the software archives and the resource center for some DJGPP software.
The Extended Zip picker, as I call it, helps you select the files you need to download. Just select the files you need and you'll get the links you need.
Note the official DJGPP zip-picker is maintained by DJ Delorie and you can visit http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/zip-picker.html to download any of the latest packages. The zip-picker here may not be maintained regularly.
The DJGPP Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), by Eli Zaretskii, has answers to almost every question. To find something quickly, go the to index of this FAQ and just look there.
I wrote a small page on installing DJGPP long ago. If you are a real newbie, you don't know how to install DJGPP, and you're absolutely clueless, this is the right place for you.
I also have a couple of other documentation for various GNU Tools and software. They're actually the manuals. You might be interested in reading them.
I haven't started on the tutorial yet, but I intend doing it only when I get more freetime, interest and motivation. :-(
People who work hard (especially to help you) deserve credit, don't they? That's why I have the list of contributors.
Also, there are a couple of interesting packages developed using DJGPP. I haven't had time to list those, but the FAQ has a big collection of them. See this page...
Are you looking for a good IDE for development with DJGPP? Perhaps you're looking for the best IDE, right? See the answer to it...
Finally, like I said elsewhere on this site, I'm working on Protected Mode documentation. Please check the main page for more details. You can read the document online or download the Texinfo sources.
